End of March Post

Last week in class we had a speaker talk about being tourists and how we should act towards people of different cultures.  We wrote what we thought tourist would look like and the most common were people with cameras, maps, walking without direction, and people who just didn't dress like the locals. In Charleston I have seen all of these people, many in tour groups and also a lot of people who were in the horse draw carriages looked like they were in Charleston for the first time.  When I go to Paris I expect to stick out even more since I don't speak French at all and will be with a group of people taking photos
What I will be doing during May
Probably tourists

About Me

My name is Bradley Piaskowski, I was born June 30, 1994 in Michigan.  My family moved to Mount Pleasant about 12 years ago, previously living in Michigan, and Myrtle Beach.  I usually coach tennis at the Family Circle Cup over the summer.  I have never been to Paris or Europe before this trip so I am interested to see what is different over there.  I am taking Biology 112, Spanish 200, and Chemistry 111, with labs for Biology and Chemistry and a conversation supplement class for Spanish.  Also I am taking the FYSM class Me, Myself, and My that is about personal genetics.  I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to take this class so I signed up for another FYSM just in case.  I plan on majoring in Biology with either a BA or BS.
