First Day in Paris

The park

The group and I arrived in Paris today and I felt really tired even though I had technically slept 8 hours on the plane.  We traveled to the hotel and the rooms are extremely small, and the surge protector I tried to plug in would kill the power to the entire room.  I watched a little House and CSI Miami in French and it really made it sink in that I was in Paris.  After I organized my room we went touring the area outside of the hotel and then ate dinner at the Hippopotamus.  The dinner was excellent and if all of the restaurants we go to are as good, then that alone will make this a good trip.  We saw a park where Parisians were playing soccer, ping pong, martial arts, were on scooters and rollerblading.  I went to sleep around 8:30 because I was so tired from the plane ride, touring and food.
